I have a samsung lcd tv that doesn't turn on straight away when switched on. It takes 10 minutes before it actually turns on. once on it works perfect and you can switch it off and on and it turns on straight away it's just the 1st time you turn it on. Anyone know what this could be and any ideas on price to fix it. Thanks in advance

Our Samsung takes a couple of minutes to start, always has done since the day we purchased it. Even when hot, if you turn it off/on still takes the same time to start again. We just live with it.

:huh: A lot of trouble with tvs starting [loading ] since digital switch over learn to live with it or buy a panosonic :help:

There are 3 capacitors on your powerboard that will be on their way out the capacitors themselves are about £3 but id expect to pay no more than £65 to have someone out to come and do it which takes 15 minutes max.
