CosyWarm brushed aside a depleted Sheffield Forum side with ease with 3 goals in each half. Sheffield Forum were missing 5 players with Daniel Sheedy, Ryan Lynch, Joe Appleby and Joe Neate all out of this game whilst Liam Wales refused to play after being asked to play a different position. This meant starts for Ashley Proctor out of position, Andy Coates and a new position for Adam Smith whilst Forum had to adapt a new 4-5-1 formation. One sub was Nathan Jenkins who was meant to miss the game as his ankle was nowhere near 100%.

Early play was open with Forum attacking but struggling with just the one up front whilst CosyWarm were very quick on the counter attack and spread their play well attacking at pace. It was a counter attack that un-did Sheffield Forum for the first goal, a quick break down the left and clever ball played in CosyWarm forward to slot past the keeper for 1-0.

Sheffield Forum soon went on the offensive and applied pressure to CosyWarm and equalised from a corner, Ashley Matthews heading in from close range.

Things turned for the worst though soon after, Sheffield Forum keeper went down for the ball when his arm was stood on by a forward going for the ball leaving the keeper on the floor in pain. The result was an anterior dislocation of the right shoulder as it popped out of joint. Luckily, help was on hand as the secretary managed to get it back into joint but leaving the keeper in pain. With only one sub, there was not much option of a change after just 25 minutes so after a prolonged break in play, the keeper continued and play resumed.

CosyWarm took the lead shortly after, a low shot to the keepers right sneaking in despite getting a hand to the ball. A third was added shortly after, the ball bouncing on the edge of the area and the forward getting his hat trick with a stunning powerful strike into the top left corner.

Half time: Sheffield Forum 1-3 CosyWarm

Half time brought more bad news as Tom Gray could not continue after going over on his ankle whilst Ashley Proctor was carrying a knock. Nathan Jenkins had to come on for Gray meaning the keeper had to continue and Forum left with no more substitutes.

CosyWarm soaked up all Forum pressure and broke quickly as before, adding 3 more second half goals (which I apologise I cannot remember that much of!) Although I can tell you that Forum squandered many chances, Phillip Gill and Kyle Dowling the most noticable although CosyWarm also missed many chances and the injured keeper made several saves.

A bad day at the office for Sheffield Forum, when it rains...it pours! Hopefully up to strength next week against AFC Phoenix although Wales will not play for Forum again.

CosyWarm sit clear at the top of the table still whilst Forum in 5th place but confident of winning their remaining games.

Liam Wales refused to play after being asked to play a different position.

For me, Liam shouldn't be playing anywhere other than up front... but if asked to - he shouldn't refuse.

 Gutted to be out though but first game on sidelines, might actually enjoy it!! And its away which is a bonus!!

Last season would have agreed, but Corks will tell you he hasnt been the same this season and has always been more effective coming deep or wide. With 3 forwards we were hoping to have some luck on the wings with his pace. As you know, hes a good player but really not been same this season which is a massive shame.

Liam has been a shadow of the player i first saw, he was dangerous, lethal almost.
He has his minds on other things by the look of things recently, good look to the lad but not really a Sunday league player for me, you need commitment.
