Hi,
I was just wondering if any of you know anything about the Mooney family from Sheffield? Just found out im a descendant from the family and they was pretty big in the early 1900's.
Any info would be appreciated.
Do a search Tom.

there is a book by I think "J.P. Bean" called "The Sheffield Gang Wars". It is A5, paperback and has a black and white cover, as though covered in newsprint. I've got it somewhere but never got round to reading it. Apparently it's very informative. I'm sure the Mooneys were mentioned in it quite a bit.
I've seen it in various bookshops over the years.

I've read JP Beans book and it's an excellent read, very informative. It makes you think when the incidents described were taking place around where you live and work.
