|
View Full Version : Any Arsenal fans in Sheffield? modern-retro 28-03-2004, 20:50 Well............? DaBouncer 28-03-2004, 20:59 I know of one... why? modern-retro 28-03-2004, 21:04 Cos I'm one. Without counting our chickens etc. looks like we might win the league this season. I know 3 here but it'd be nice to know more. I'm thinking of going down to Islington if we win the league. Thanks 4 the response. DaBouncer 28-03-2004, 21:09 Did you guys win today then against Chelsea? Jon 28-03-2004, 21:11 You mean Man Utd DB it ended 1-1 DaBouncer 28-03-2004, 21:14 Oh yeah... thats what I meant  DOH... I only got pestered by my bro in law (Arsenal fan) to watch the match like 8 times today at the pub. Each time I gave him a **** off tablet answer for his troubles :P Lickszz 28-03-2004, 21:19 It's ok. I've moved that other thread in the wrong place to the right place and got rid of the less popular one. :) Arsenal. Yes doing well ain't they? Broke the record. Think they can maintain for the season? I don't. Too many tough games coming up and Wenger doesn't seem to like squad rotation. btw - I'm not an Arsenal fan. :o modern-retro 30-03-2004, 09:32 Thanks for merging the 2 posts Lickszz. As a Forum newie I cocked thing up a bit. Would be nice to go the season unbeaten. Be nicer though to win the League, knock Man U out of the FA Cup and win that and then to win the Champions League. I think it's important not to be too greedy. Killian 03-04-2004, 22:26 Originally posted by modern-retro Would be nice to go the season unbeaten. Arsenal are still minging. Hmmm...... minging? Oh well it could have been worse. You could said 'minga' (ing). modern-retro 04-04-2004, 18:04 Hey Clairee, good to see another Gunner ( I hate Gooner!) I'm getting a bit nervous. 2 draws and one defeat recently. Still hurting from last season's collapse. clairee 09-04-2004, 18:22 all is well with the world again Henry back on form roll on Newcastle on Sunday! modern-retro 10-04-2004, 15:56 It's been a rollercoaster week! I see you've also posted on the 'Over the moon about Arsenal' page. The Chelsea game has just finished - they only drew! uncleheed 11-04-2004, 16:05 Arsenal fans should not be allowed on this forum after what the buggers did to wednesday in 93. modern-retro 12-04-2004, 08:17 uncleheed - let it go. It's be ELEVEN years. clairee 12-04-2004, 10:07 had a tricky team to play yesterday but managed to do well least thats the end of the 4 games in 9 days! modern-retro 13-04-2004, 08:21 ...........and Chelski lost! clairee 15-04-2004, 12:56 looks like championship its on its way to highbury modern-retro 15-04-2004, 14:06 Originally posted by clairee looks like championship its on its way to highbury Hmmm.... looks like it. I'll feel better after tomorrow night (hopefully) . Don't normally get pleasure from the downfall of others (unlike some of the Sheffield fans on the other thread) but I'll make an exception for Leeds. clairee 17-04-2004, 07:35 can you beleive what a pasting Leeds got! As for Thierry Henry WOW! fnkysknky 17-04-2004, 09:20 That's 45 for Henry this season in all competitions I think now - just shows how amazingly good he is - probably the greatest player of all time to be honest if you take in to account fitness levels of players today etc. clairee 17-04-2004, 09:43 Originally posted by fnkysknky That's 45 for Henry this season in all competitions I think now - just shows how amazingly good he is - probably the greatest player of all time to be honest if you take in to account fitness levels of players today etc. He is definitely one of the greatest although it took him a while ot start scoring at Arsenal he is definitely making up for it now. Wonder over the summer if there will be any crazy rumours of clubs wanting to buy him for ridiculous amounts of money! fnkysknky 17-04-2004, 09:48 Of course there will be - Real Madrid, Chelsea etc will be linked with him. Also I'm not surprised he took a while to start scoring, he was a winger with no confidence when Wenger signed him at Arsenal - now he's the best all round forward in the world :) modern-retro 17-04-2004, 14:17 Henry won't be going anywhere. modern-retro 23-04-2004, 10:57 Originally posted by clairee looks like championship its on its way to highbury CLAIREE Hi. Have you checked your PM Inbox? fnkysknky 23-04-2004, 13:20 Originally posted by modern-retro Henry won't be going anywhere. Agreed, doesn't stop the rumours though.... modern-retro 24-04-2004, 15:59 Another PM 4U, 17.00. modern-retro 10-05-2004, 13:11 Another one. 10.5.'04 arsenallad 11-05-2004, 19:31 Can't wait for this Saturday - should be an easy game against Leicester, but we played really bad at their place earlier this season. Anyone know if Sky is covering the game ? modern-retro 13-05-2004, 18:00 The game is on Sky but on Premiership Plus. Should be around 5 quid. I'm going to the victory parade on Sunday to be with my people. clairee 14-05-2004, 06:25 as well as showing the game on sky plus after the aston villa man u game they are going to the ground to see the arsenal getting the trophy |
