My name's Dale, I'm the marketing and publicity co-ordinator for this years Hallam Jam, a large outdoor event which will be held on the 1st of May of this year. In previous years, the festival has been held in Devonshire Green, which has attracted a large number of people. This year will be no exception. The location is going to be next to the Hallam Union, where there is a purpose built (never been used b4) venue! The festival will basically consist of a stage for bands, and an indoor bar for the DJ's. There will also be activities for people and a small market too.

I'm currently searching for decent DJ's who know what they are doing ,and who can play the right tunes. The crowd will be mixed, so funky house, commercial house, garage etc is excellent! It's only fair to let you know that the work would be unpaid, due to it being a voluntary project, however, from a promotions point of view, it would get your name on posters, flyers and on the web. Last year we had some pretty good DJ's, check out last years website ( www.devonshirejam.com) for more on the event!
