Washing machine door seal.
Does anyone know if there is a repair kits for fixing a small hole in the door seal.
I thought about using a pond repair kit, if it works underwater in a pond I’m hoping it will work on the door seal.

It will dissolve on a hot wash,but you can repair using certain adhesives,such as "vulcanizer" and "zeal mait"-they will fill gaps but must be layered up and not put on in large blobs.

depending on the size I used a patch from a cycle puncture repair outfit & it lasted until we bought a new washing machine,over 6 months.

Washing machines just over 12 months old so I want the repair to last a bit longer than 6 months but I did consider that.

it may have lasted forever as we gave the washer to a charity when we got a new one.
