How good was last night? I thought the venue was class, nice crowd and good security staff. not to mention the fat ass sound system. Justin Robertson was spot on, switch were good, and zabiela was crazy, in a good way. Spent a long time by the dj box thinking, what is he doing? crazy!

Anyways, what were your opinions? I think that place is going to take off now, it's good to see what started as a really small night becoming so big.

wow......the UG just seem to be getting bigger n bigger....

but, it has to be said they do deserve it. The venue was decked out beautifully by them, the projectors were mint, i loved the way u could see the djs and then the crowds, and the lightening n sound were fantastic. Considering the amount of great nites on last friday, Pin up, lights down low, headcharge n digweed at the uni, its unbelieveable that UG has such a great launch nite and people were out in force to be part of it.

UG is the best "event" now in Sheffield and things can only get better for them.

Cant wait for Phil K this week!!!

Hi All,

Thanks for all the support! It was an amazing re-launch last week and lets hope we're gonna see more of the same!

Here's the details for this week:

Friday 2nd April

Phil Kieran (BBC Radio 1 / Bugged Out! / Shine)
Paul Woolford (Back 2 Basics / Bobby Peru / Hip Therapist / Freelance Science)
Elite Force (TCR / Lot 49 / Kingsize)

Three of perhaps the most exciting producers and DJ's in their repsective scenes come to Sheffield this Friday and we're pretty damn excited. Whether it's gonna be Phil Kieran's slamming yet funky electro / techno / breaks soundtrack, Paul Woolford's jackin twisted house template or Elite Force's trademark house / breaks tech funk crossover signature sound...there's gonna be something here for everyone.

I hope you all have fun tonight without me. Unfortunately due to the slight geographical issue of being back in liverpool. i will not be able to attend. Sorry if this seems like a poor excuse.
See you all soon.
