I am tryinh to find out about Dublin Core metadata.

Does anyone here know anything about it, such as when it origionated and what its principles are.

Also are there any good websites which give some easy to understand information about it. i have tried to find some but they seem to be aimed at people who already know a lot about metadata.

Any help would be much appreachiated.

Its a way of marking up texts with publication data - I believe it uses RDF tripples to store the data - try looking on:
