i did a clean reboot from scratch (where you have to reinstall windows again) and had a soundcard in my PC at the time, now i've removed the soundcard and its drivers and software but my onboard sound wont work how do i install the onboard sound drivers?

should have got a driver CD if it was new PC...if not find out what motherboard you have and search for the sound drivers for that motherboard and download them :)

If you were using an aditional sound card then the on board sound card may be disabled in the Bois. (press del or f1/f2 or what ever key it tells you to press on startup), look for on board sound and make sure it is not switched off. you will probably still need to install the drivers but it needs to be switchedon first.

just downloaded and installed the drivers, everythings back! sounds working fine now!
