View Full Version : Forum user in hospital

I have been asked personally, by "cycleracer24" (who I'm sure most people on here know of),to tell regular users that he has recently had a mild heart attack, and is currently in the NGH awaiting test results etc. I have seen him a couple of times, and he seems to be doing well, it's just the being in hospital that's getting him down. Any replies to this thread, I will pass on. Hopefully he will be out next week sometime

Get well soon. Its not the best place to be, my father in law is in there at the moment.

Do you have one of those televisions that you can access the internet from above your bed? Might pass along the time. I know you have to pay for them though. I dont know if they have them where you are, but if they do, you might be reading this yourself!

Hope they chuck you out as good as new sooner rather than later!

markdp, thanks for letting us know.

Please tell Paul I send my regards, and hope he is ok.

I had a "silent" heart attack and arrhythmia a couple of years ago. The worst part of it was the feeling of insecurity and lack of confidence in doing everyday things.......but that eases eventually, and the doctors at Rotherham General Hospital really know their stuff, as I am sure the ones at NGH do too.

Hope to see Paul posting here soon.
