This afternoon I challenged two youths on the main Meersbrook allotment site, who claimed they had come to look at a vacant plot. I found them on my neighbours plot and whilst it looks a bit tatty, it definitley isn't vacant. They claimed that the door to the plot was already open.
Another allotment holder that also challenged them phoned the Police, presumably on the 101 number, but by the time I had to leave the site, the youths had dissapeared and the police had yet to arrive (if they did at all).
They were both 16 - 18 years old, one Carribean/ mixed race, the other white with light brown hair. Both around 5ft 8ins, and both in trainers/ sportswear attire. The mixed race youth was carrying a large black holdall over his shoulder.
Please be vigilant.

Hard to say, I don't think there is a lot to steal on my neighbours plot. The holdall they had definitely had something in it, I guess they were opportunists doing the rounds..
