The Christmas Meet will be on 12 December at Harlequin, 7.30 onwards. As it's the last one of 2011, it will include an optional buffet at £5 per head. We will also be having pub quiz and raffle for charity split between St Lukes Hospice, Help for Heroes and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Fancy dress is optional so please don't be put off if you don't fancy getting dressed up. Hope to see old friends and new. Normal service will resume on 16 January 2012.

Buffet: Please give me a couple of days notice if you want food so that I can advise Liz the landlady, she is quite happy to assist if you have dietary needs.

Usual buffet consists of:

* Sandwiches or wraps
* Salads
* Pastries (eg sausage rolls, pork pies, flans)
* Snacks (eg bhajis, pakoras, dips, nachos)
* Garlic bread or pizza

I'll be there, I paid my £5 for the buffet last night :D

I will also be in fancy dress, that prize is all mine!

I will be coming but not in fancy dress ( oh well, go on, I may wear a pair of antlers on my head ) from the pound shop. Not sure whether Janet is coming.:thumbsup:

Apologies but this overpaid and under employed public sector worker will be doing another ten hour night shift as part of my 60 hour week , good job my pension is gold plated isn't it..... :)
