Do you thihnk we will ever have a truly cashless society? What will this mean for us, will it be a good thing or a bad thing?

If by cash you mean conventional notes and coin, then the answer is almost certainly yes. But these will be replaced by other media of exchange (probably by instant electronic tranfers on our mobile phones or computers). So physical currency will simply be replaced by electronic currency. A recent prediction is that we will be able to download and print 'cash' from our computers, although obviously not before the security issues have been sorted out.
