She was one of my old school mates in the Infants at Hunter’s Bar Council School (1935) and she lived somewhere opposite Endcliffe Woods. Her father was a departmental manager at the Sheffield & Ecclesall Co-op HQ. There are very few of my old school mates left nowadays
