Anyone else go to the James Lavelle gig on tuesday (7th feb)?

I went with a mate and was very happily surprised, the man's pure electronic filth! :headbang:

After having seen Lavelle twice already, I was really looking forward to UG, and it didn't disappoint.

Lavelle was grewat, but to be honest I thought the residents in the second room were awesome. The drum and bass that got played in their towards the end was fantastic.

Ya know I got so caught up in Lavelles set that i completely forgot to check out the secound room!!! :confused:

However not sure who he was but the fella warming up for Lavelle certainly deserves a mention as well. An excellent breaks set.

that was long-time friend of UG, Alan Chapman. He's playing again for UG soon so you'll get to see him again!

The TTC residents, Andy H, Stoaty (Ali H) and Mikey J have been killing it this year. Anyone who likes their hip hop, beatsy stuff and D&B need to check these guys out as they're better than most of the supposed 'names' on the scene.
