I could take my pick of 'free' courses. What is wrong with this country ?
I assume the latter are the 'doleys' that get looked after !

So true, my husband has worked since he was 21 without a break, he was unemployed for 2 months after we moved to Shef and they wouldn't give him a sausage. They really should get to grips with people who are playing the system People who are GENUINELY unemployed or sick REALLY need help, people who exploit this are scum.

I know who you are Hazel! I've gleaned the following bits of information solely from your posts.......

You live in Derbyshire, and are probably the oldest forummer on SF. (I will though refrain from mentioning a lady's age!).
You've got problems with your neighbours who inconsiderately park their cars outside your house.

Your brother is also a forummer. Your husband once bought a new shaver - which caused you some merriment and embarrassment  You like attending auctions with your friend Jane, and you have recently taken to playing the bugle.

And, last but not least, you are also a budding poet (- check out the limericks thread folks!).

I work in sales for a distribution company in town, so if anyone wants a good price on till rolls/credit card rolls, price gun labels, portable applience testing labels, payslips and stacks more things that a business has to buy in, then get in touch and I'll see what I can do for ya!

Thanks

Damn, and I was just searching this thread for an auto electrician ...

Actually a very good idea Tony, I was thinking about something simular myself the other week, having a skills exchange part of the forum.

I can do X or Y, in exchange for someone who can do Z for me.

Nonsense. You're nothing more than a custard de-skinner from Newcastle during the day, and 99 Agent for Mr Whippy during the evening. And before you ask how I know, I can think of hundreds and thousands...............:hihi:

You've found me out dear Cloudy - but I do have dreams and aspirations. Oh what lovely daydreams I have whilst I'm skinning the custard!

in the day i make bananas, and sell them on street corners to pensioners who know the secret word.

I invest currency with my accountants based on equines mounted by vertically-challenged humans wearing brightly-coloured clothes. In laymans terms, I back horses for a living. After this week, I will probably be clearing up the droppings from the said equines to sell door to door in order to make ends meet!
