Have they got to be or have been footballers? What about Hannibal Lector in defence; I mean who's going to risk going near that psychopath? What referee would dare book him, give a foul against him or even talk to him? He'd be on my fantasy team any time....one bad muttha!:D :D

Don't know whether he's bad or just mad - Darren Purse? His disciplinary record is far from good - his standard of play is moderate yet Trevor Francis used him which is possibly why Francis's teams never won anything!

There was a great Channel 4 program called Football Bad Boys a few years ago. It would be hard to argue with the lineup from that.

It had proper nutters and hardmen in there (so no Keane, Viera or Vinny Jones) like Edmundo, Ron Harris, Rene Huiguita, Manu Gentile etc
