Just passing a couple of idle minutes at work and did a quick search on google for Sheffield webcams and was very dissapointed at the results. The few that were listed were not working or broken links (Uni).

Does anyone know of any good working sites?

My question should you have read it concerned the lack of Sheffield webcams, and not generically about webcams.

As a moderator, perhaps you should adopt a more friendly tone and maybe a little more helpful when dealing with posts.

Our Sid was perfectly friendly, he was simply pointing out that there is already a thread in existence regarding the subject of Sheffield webcams.

AJ my old friend how are you? Not seen you for a while.

I can find loads of traffic cams on the net via Google, can't seem to find anything else like street/shopping cams. I would have thought there'd be a few in the City Centre.

The university used to have a couple of cams over the concourse. Only two were linked to but the url's were sequential. One day, out of curiosity, I typed in '3' - it turned out to be a camera on it's side on some guy's desk. i kept watching for ages but nothing ever happened. Precious hours that I'll never get back :-(
