PHONO presents an evening with
E.A.R. feat JOSHUA IZ & J.CUB
26 Nov @ West End, Glossop Road, Sheffield.
Bloody hell!! Phono is a little bit shocked to announce that we've managed somehow to book Chicago house hero JOSHUA (Iz) and UK badman J.Cub for an evening with E.A.R. (Eclectic Avenue Records). In the back room of a pub. FOR FREE!!!

To be honest, we shouldn't really have to sell this much. But briefly...
JOSHUA (Iz) is a stalwart of the US scene. He has released on heavyweight labels such as Classic, Cajual, Tweekin', Nordic Trax, OM, Junior Boys Own and Nightshift. Not forgetting of course his own label Vizual and our guest label tonight E.A.R.
He has toured the world's greatest venues for longer than many of you have been raving and famously held a residency at Fabric with his production partner Diz. That's a Fabric resident, in a pub near you. You get that?
J.Cub, aka Jacob, is another stalwart of the scene, but one of our own. Heavily associated with wicked labels like MFF, Peaches International & 3am, as well as formerly being a co-owner of Baker St Records, he has worked with all the major names in underground house and toured globally with his groove-heavy sound. Modern day J-Cub is now co-owner of the ball-achingly hip, vinyl only label E.A.R. alongside partner (not that type) Ryan Shaw.

It an absolute honour and a pleasure to welcome these two heroes of ours to Phono. To be able to put on such an amazing line-up in a big old Sheffield pub for free...lets just call it our little gift to you. Please come and support this event; we guarantee you won't get an opportunity to do something like this in such an intimate setting for a long, long time.
Oh yeah, and the usual Phono ressies Dan J, Alex Cooke and GrowMore will be knocking about too.
