Does anyone have any idea of whats happening at the top of Eastbank road, just drove past and there are loads of police cars, vans and they are now cordening four houses off.

Heard lots of rumours. Mostly that it's connected to the disappearance of a woman but I must state, these are probably just rumours.

Its got something to do with the arbourthorne pub i think :(

On the news tonight, there was a report about a missing woman from London who hasn't taken her passport clothes or any other personal items with here. She is of foreign origin, and the report said (from Metropolitan Police) that searches were being made for her in Birmingham and Sheffield.

Can't find a link with any details, and I was only listening to the news with one ear at the time. Sorry.

I have heard about this woman too as the police questioned some of my friends about it as they live opposite a house that they suspect has some connections to the incident. Don't know whether it's connected though.

it did happen on eastbank road it was somebody trying to nick somebodys mobile phone.The person that got stabed walked into the arbourthorne hotel at aroung 6.30. Somebody that was in the pub at the time told me .
