yes i lived on Bocking Lane from 46-66, it was a lovely place to live then, could talk for a long time about events from my childhood.

It,s such a long time since i worked at BTS, think i left about 66/67, about the same time i left with my parents from Bocking Lane(near shops @ top).The same day my father put the house up for sale £3.950.000, the council put the land (tip) opposite up for sale, where those houses are now. I remember standing at the gate and watching them tarmac Bocking Lne, for the first time, infact have pictures of it when it was a dirt track, remember them building Lowedges estate, knocking down the farm to build Greenhill school, which i attended. Had to go upto Bradway school when i was 5, which is at the top of Twentywell Rd, thought mom was taking me to the end of the world, cried every morning. Oh so many thougths.
