Code13 20-09-2007, 04:27 PM I find Jamiroquai absolutely unlistenable.
As for irritating songs, some dastardly person started a thread the other day "does anyone remember Captain Beaky". Up to that point I hadn't.
BasilRathbon 20-09-2007, 04:31 PM Is This The Way To Armadillo?
xxsarahxx 20-09-2007, 05:09 PM Sheilas wheels...does that count...:hihi:
dennistowler 20-09-2007, 05:33 PM Some truly dire ones already mentioned - lighthouse family, Jamiroquai - but the "song" that makes me want to pour acid down my earhole is that awful "lonely" thing by Akon with the singing that sounds like pinky and perky
GoGo_dancer 21-09-2007, 09:20 AM I really love Eiffel 65's 'Blue'.
I was just about to come on here and list this as the most irritating song!! My hubby loves it but I think it's the worst song ever....even worse than fast food song..."McDonalds, McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Pizza Hut..."

Plain Talker 22-09-2007, 01:27 AM I definitely can't abide "heart will go on" by "sea-lion" dion. it was played at my gran's funeral. I hated it before, I absolutely detest it, now!
"I will always love you" by Whitney:- :gag: pass the strycchnine, please!!!! I preferred Dolly Parton's really touching original version, from the film "The Best Little Wh're House In Texas"

StarSparkle 23-09-2007, 11:59 AM Bryan Adams "Everything I do, I do it for You"
Absolutely dire. I remember going to see "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" (and what a waste of two hours THAT was, apart from ALan Rickman), and I couldn't believe my eyes/ears when at the end we got up to leave and no-one else in the whole cinema did, they just sat there, listening to this dreadful song play out. :gag:
I'd never seen anything like it at the cinema - what a bunch of saddoes
StarSparkle
StarSparkle 23-09-2007, 12:03 PM Also:
Anything by Celine Dion or Mariah Carey
Pretty much anything that's so-called modern RnB
Paul McCartney's "Mulligan's Tyres" - what a dirge
Oasis "Wonderwall" - another dirge I'm sorry to say
Many more

EdnaKrabappe 23-09-2007, 01:22 PM Dancing in the dark Bruce Springsteen - heard it again last night, still hate it.
Anything by CelinedireDion.
The power of love Jennifer Rush - i get severe road rage when i hear that song.
Simply the Best Tina Turner. cos it's blatantly not.
I just called to say i love you Stevie Wonder - stevie i love you but not that pile of poo.
Walk of life Dire Straits.... infact don't think there are any dire straits i like.
Chasing Cars Snow Patrol... it's just not going anywhere.
That keane one that goes... what will i dooooooo, what will i do.....
David Gray - it's his voice, the songs are ok.
Coldplay - I've got the three albums but they just irritate me sometimes - I've got to be really in that mood. Don't think i've ever played x and y all the way through.
James Rhymes with Blunt.... again you just want to get him to wipe that smarmy look off his face.
Walking on sunshine Katrina and the waves... always annoyed me still does.
Higher state of consciousness... perhaps the epiphany - when stood in Europa, i realised i didn't have to be there and i didn't like dance music so I should just go home. So I did.
EdnaKrabappe 23-09-2007, 01:23 PM P.S. I  Jamiroquai though. (Jay Kay - yum!)
