I am in the process of becoming a registered child minder and would like to look after children with special needs. I have found that there is a lack of private child care in this area, or it is not well advertised. My son has various disabilities and I found it hard to get good child care for him. Now he is at school I would like to put the experience I have to good use. Are there any child minders out there who have any advice or experience of working with children with special needs?
