View Full Version : Lime Crisps
tinajones 24-03-2004, 20:24 Does anyone know if you can buy Lime Crisps in Sheffield? (or even the UK?)
I had some in Mexico last week and have only bought a limited supply back!
*Twinkle* 24-03-2004, 20:29 You can get lime flavoured dipping chips... Dorritos do them and Morrisons do their own brand... Mmm yummy...
There's a lot of talk about crisps on this forum tonight and it's making me hungry!

Ta, but they are not those tortilla dipping crisps, they are regular 'uns like Walkers, but called Sabritas (the logo is very similar).
www.papassabritas.com.mx is a snazzy site but no distribution info...
Sounds like a good business opportunity, importing lime crisps, they do sound really nice,im getting hungry now.
Sam Miguel 24-03-2004, 20:52 They sound great. I like lime-flavoured stuff. I bet they are an offshoot of Lays.
Are they lime-pickleish or milder?
'Sabrita' means something like: bursting little bit of flavour.

I wouldn't eat crisps (any sort even if you paid me, ) I hate the things, it seems to be a modern phenomenum. People take them to work for their lunch etc. and sit munching away in the Peace Gardens with a silly expression on their fat faces, what a sight!!!

So that's where you've been for the past six months
Couldn't you send us a post from there?
And more importantly, did you buy me a gift ?
PS - oh yes, er, welcome back
