Have seen my first one today. When did they start coming out?
I can't work out this new way of dating the registration plates.

Begining of March...........

Explanation: The start of the year determins the plate i.e

2005 first reg will be xx05 xxx
2005 second reg (sept) will be xx54 xxx

the 5 in the second reg denotes half way through the year as such.
The first 2 letters i.e AB04 xxx is down to the area the car was registered. The last 3 letters i.e xx04 abc are random letters.
