A big bunch of flowers, a box of Thornton's Continentals, a bottle of Champagne ( Lambrusco if you're on the Manor Park) and then off to bed ;)

 LA ROMANTICA:love: - at the bottom of London Road - Really reasonable and good portions of yummy food. I highly recommend it...

Cafe Rouge are doing a good deal for valentines day, a 3 course meal for £22 each! not bad considering most places will charge you over £30 each!
good luck in finding a place!

We ignore it in our house - It's basically a license for florists, restaurants and their ilk to print money. Cook a nice meal, have a glass of wine or two and then retire to bed for the evenings entertainment! :D

I plan to rent "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" and toast my singleness with a six-pack of margarita-flavored malt beverage.

Dear Prospective Suitor:

If you take care of the airfare, I'll pay for dinner.

Fondly, HH:love:

Thanks, gerrardsbabe... I appreciate the gesture. Actually, though, I was boasting about what a good time I was going to have with my friends, Liz, Dick and Margarita. I hope you and your BF (it is Gerrard, right?) have a lovely evening, too.
