Who's been to 118 192 at the Harley on Friday night?
It's our favorite bar night now it's open til 12.30. We get so ****** we woulldn't be allowed into any club anyway!! It's well cheap...student's paradise!
It's like the forum meets bar 1!

I've been on a Thursday too which was good, but does anyone know about other nights there?? and are the drinks as cheap??

Yeah, I've been to just about all the nights. sundays and tuesdays are good. Drinks are cheap all week too!
Are you going this Friday?? maybe we could meet up? I'm going down with my mates

I rate the place too, a good mix of people in nice surrondings - what more could you ask for in a bar?!!
Me and a couple of my mates are going down this friday 2.

chiqchick 24-03-2004, 15:02 Fridays are always really good, but i reckon sundays are the best night there, plus...there arn't many places open til 12.30 on sundays.
we usually go on a thursday, and we haven't been let down yet!
Also worth remembering.. if you buy your tickets for GC1 there you get a free shooter at the Harley and get to jump the queue at the club. Dont knock a gifthorse and all that....
Been hearing good things about this place, we'll give it a go. Tried the forum and halcyon, so somewhere different is always a laugh!

liked the Harley before it had the needless makeover and the late licence...gets a little packed now for my old bones, but we still end up there most weekends...spoke to my mates the other night and lo and behold they want to end up there again this Saturday...creatures of habit or what?
My only major grump with the place is that the DJ playing there a couple of weeks ago was too much of a coward to play my mates request...now while we may look like we're going to ask for a strange combination of Marily Manson, Pearl Jam and Russian Orthodox chanting, all he wanted was for the guy to play a Jurassic Five number...now is that too much to ask?

118's on over easter, you should give it a go tonight, should be a good one... we're goona get WRECKED!!!

sorry to **** on peoples chips but i didnt think it was all that.
£2.90 for a pint of Guinness and the bar closing at 11pm anyway even though advertised til 12:30am isnt that good really is it?

I have not heard of this place, where is it and what music(if any) does it play?
Miss Piggy, the harley is at the top of west street as it joins glossop road. Used to be a fairly upmarket hotel, then it chaged to a bar. Its very popular with students. Cheap drinks etc..

Went in there on Friday night with a friends, a fight broke out within about 2 minutes of us being in there (nothing to do with us I must add!), a pathetic fight but a fight non the less.
Was far from impressed, very townie, feel much safer in the Showroom, and that's open 'til 1 the 'big light' came on at 12.15 in the Harley.
Did seem pretty cheap though I guess.
SilentStatic 20-04-2004, 15:54 Been fine whenever I've been there, which is many times. Used to like it a lot of better before they redesigned it and increased the prices though.
But hey - last time I went on a Saturday the barstaff kept coming over to our sofas and taking orders, so we didn't even need to get up for drinks :D
