Anyone know of any Thai muay classes for begginers. Preferably around S11 Side of Sheffield?

Thanks!

S11 side of sheffield?
the closest place is AFK

www.sheffieldkickboxing.com

central location, friendly people , excellent personal service even in the beginners classes , no egos or attitudes either :)

Walking distance from where you live

Even though I know Wicker Camp isn't as close as you would like, there is no where else in Sheffield teaching authentic Muay Thai to the same standard, it'll be worth the extra bit of travelling.

I totally agree. WWW.WICKERCAMP.COM

Wicker camp is the foremost authority in authentic Muaythai in the entire region .

People travel from as far as Leeds, Derby, Doncaster to train at this place.
The facilities and quality of instruction is second to none.

People travel to train at AFK from derby, coventry and bradford etc to train there too.
in my case from london or wherever else i am stationed at the time
wicker is not the be all and end all the way you make it out to be
in my opinion you present a very narrow minded way of looking at things
try opening your mind a bit more

It seems freddy that whenever there is a thread on anything remotely related
to martial arts you always present AFK, regardless of what the initial query might have been. Wouldn't you say offering the same thing for every query
is NARROW MINDEDNES?

This query was about muaythai and judging by tangible criteria:
Equipment
Quality of instruction
Instructors
Number of Champions produced
etc etc

If you had been to wicker camp I think you would agree
that it is second to none in this field

I totally agree with that. Someone posts a topic asking for help fixing a car, and they get a reply from freddy saying "Don't know about the car but why not come train at AFK because Farhad is hard as nails and nobody will beat him." Haha.

I'd love to see an interclub competition between wicker camp and AFK, the best fighters from each club in full Thai rules bouts.

WickerCamp is clearly the best place to be in the area for Thai, i have been down there and intend to go again, the place is brilliant and the training is second to none, and i have one of the best instructors in the area in Mark Hayes

I've heard that there might be a major Thaiboxing show in Sheffield (hillsborough Leisure Centre) this Spring.

Can't wait!

lol! Freddy must have a buzzer and wireless internet access attached, everytime a martials related word is mentioned on the forum, he gets an alert!

Maybe they should change the name to SheffieldFreddyleeForum.co.uk
or SheffieldFarhadforum.co.uk

What do you think?

Christian DiPaolo is fighting again?
cool!
When?

I wonder if his opponent knows who he is up against!
They may keep that a sceret from him till he enters the ring.
