There were loads of police at Lodge Moor this afternoon near The Sheffield (Shiny Sheff) Anyone know owt about it?

ooh thats a very Pikeyphobic thing to say.......best get out of the way before you get trampled by do gooders, or worst still a visit from the PC brigade.

Do Gypsies still live up there? I thought they moved on! Must have been the locals?!


p.s. Mum and Dad live up there. Mum must have had too many Stellas!

LOL - I have seen them in the Shiny a few times is all, seems to be a favourite haunt of theirs (or at least it was back in the day). They may well have moved on now.

Never had any problems with the gypsies myself, but I do know of people who have encountered them and their non too friendly ways.

They have moved away from the Sheff (around the same time the pool table went).

The £2.70 pint of Stella did the trick.
