Anyone know of some decent software for writing drum tracks on the computer? The kind of thing where you can set up a backing track to play along to.

Using sounds from a free drum module plugin. Even more impressive would be using Groove Agent, the virtual drummer along with Cubase. Band-In-A-Box would be slightly quicker but a load cheesier. MTheo 05-02-2006, 18:53 i cant get the hang of cubase, steinberg vst or cakewalk........so a little box with pads that sounds ace did it for me :) but i am a dumbass Bellacboy 05-02-2006, 19:03 Its been around a while, but rebirth might be good for what you are after. Its a step sequencer based on the old 808 and 909 drum machines. Not to mention the TB 303 synth. Its a bit limited but if all you want to do is play along to it, it should suffice. |
