www.b4u.co.uk also do online sms and only require a real mobile number whereas http://www.cbfsms.com requires you to agree to allow pop-ups to transmit a message.

Some free sms sites:

Register here:

theSMSzone.com/?ref=cristi12

Features:

Free international & anonymous SMS.
You can write whatever you want in the "sender" form, your name nickname, even another phone number....
Favourites list, forum, Address Book, etc.
Long sms: send multiple messages as one.

And another one... :

No registration required:

textagroup.com

"Features" :

One free sms per day, per IP address.
Note: if you have a dynamic IP address you can disconnect your internet connection, reconnect, and send another one. be sure to close your browser too... refreshing the page dosen't work....
Limited global number of sms that can be sent per day.... it's a good idea to wake up early if you plan to use this site....
No "sender" form.... it sends the site's name as the sender....
Limited no. of characters: 160
Sends a "textagroup.com" ad at the end of the message with every sms sent.

My advice:
If your not lazy, regiser on the first site. I'ts got lots of cool features and it's FREE!
