Whats the best film for when one of your friends is getting over being dumped by a bast**d?

The film you have watched like a millliiiooooonnnn times when your in your pyjamas drinking wine and eating b&j ice cream??

The first Bridgid Jones film has got to be one of my favourites, Hugh Grant is so yummy in it, I do like a bit of a bad boy lol

It's not a film, but the entire series of 'Pride and Prejudice' (the 1995 BBC version) is rather good too.

My sister used to watch a film called 'Now & Then'
It stars Demi Moore, Rita Wilson and a couple of others.

I used to think it was a crap film and called her sad for watching it over and over when she felt down but after seeing it now, I think it is brilliant.

Also- when my first child was born I fell in love with the Richard E.Grant film 'Jack & Sarah' - its lovely.

There is nothing better than some tunz on full blast and dancing around your room!! Not that you could dance while in the car.. Then again I have had some funny looks from people watching me sing and jump about listening to music when im driving lol

There's nothing like a good old girlie film

When Harry met Sally
Notting Hill
Four weddings
Steel Magnolias
Beaches
Dirty Dancing
Bridge Jones
Grease

and Pretty woman which I pretty much know verbatim.
However I do like me unisex films as well.

Not going to air my dirty laundry on here, but lets just say I'll never speak to him again after this weekend's events. *sigh*
The best medcine was going out yesterday and being reminded that I'm attractive and guys do wanna find out what I'm all about :D

I do the whole singing-in-the-car shamefest! :hihi: You cant really get the emotion out without a full on singalong lol! Going to get in t'car and have another singalong now... well, its already raining! :P

I'm not generally a big fan of 'girlie' films, although I do admit to a certain fondness for "Pretty Woman" and "Sliding Doors". But then again I don't really consider the latter to be a true girlie sort of film - I think it's much too complex a film for that.

Most of the time I can't bear anything that Richard Curtis (:gag:) has had a hand in (or anything featuring Tom Hanks; or anything featuring Meg Ryan), although there were some beautiful touches/scenes in "Notting Hill".
