I know this is probably one of the teething problems, and I apologise if I have not read something somewhere that tells me what to do..... but it is sooooo frustrating. Is there anything I can go (or not do) to stop it happening please?

I'm afraid it is soemthing that seems to be happening with some PCs.

I run two PCs for Forum Access and one keeps me logged in quite happily and teh other keeps throwing me out. Both using IE, one on Windows 98 and one on XP. The XP machine keeps throwing me out!

Anyway, one thing to try is to log out and then clear your cookies - this will have the effect of removing infromation stored by other web sites as well as SF, so only do this if you're happy to do that. Typically it may mean that any preferences you have with other web sites may be lost.

This sometimes works; however, it is an issue that we are aware of and will try and get sorted.

At home I don't gete logegd out but at work it logs out very quickly, I don't know why but it did not used to happen so your not alone!

Ta for the replies. JoeP, I thought cookies cleared when you logged out! If it is something I have to do manually, I am totally clueless as to how to go about it! Any help greatly appreciated.

Yup, it's in the office I get logged out...firewall or proxy issues, I wonder?
