Right I know this has bugger all to do with Sheffield, well apart from I live here and I'm going out (close enough mods eh?) but it'll get best response here I reckon. Anyway May 1st there are 2 big clubbing events that I wanna go to and can't make my mind up so want you lot to do it for me - then I've got someone to blame if I end up at the wrong one :D

The choices are

1. Renaissance - Wild In The Country @ Shugborough Hall, Staffordshire, 7pm - 6am

In The Wild Arena

sasha & john digweed (extended set)
dave seaman
james zabiela

In The Pacha Arena

In The Shadow Arena

2. Tribal Gathering Warehouse Party 2 @ Secret warehouse in Manchester, 4pm - 6am

Now the lineup at Renaissance is indeed amazing and I'd be happy to go for Zabiela alone..... but as I missed out on the legendary late 80's, early 90's warehouse parties I reckon Tribal Gathering would be a really different experience (plus it's got a breaks room)....... Arrrgggghhhhhh, which one do I go to - 2 amazing line ups on 1 day, gimme some help, pleeeeeeease...... :D

Yike, I know nothing about this music scene at all. I've got a Motorhead tribute band playing at the CRB that night. Don't suppose I can tempt you to that instead? ;)

It's been cancelled?!

Why?

They had planned on 10k people going but could only get a licence for 7k as they couldn't knock out enough fire exits in the warehouse. Basically they wanted to do it at least as big and good as last years or not at all so they cancelled...... gutted :(

both spot on

i'd have said Renaissance if both were still on. I was however, 'there' in the late 80's early 90's - did a few tribal gatherings in my day!

'there was a time when rock and roll was easy - then came aciiiiiiid rock!'
