Bryan i'm almost certain that it was the Cavendish which was of course the forerunner of Baileys. Where was the Penny Farthing? I can remember the Locarno being a shop actually. Can't remember exactly what but something like British Home Stores. First went to it as a dance hall in 1958ish..(Many times):thumbsup: First actual night club I ever went to was Top Rank but that wasn't until the 70's...not that I'm saying that was the first there, just the first for me...I was a bit busy before that. |
