loadsa police cars and a big taped off area on what i think is corner of four wells drive and cotleigh road. behind the shops on Birley Spa Lane. If its another sheffield shooting I think I'll have to move to a safer area. Like South Central LA!

i live on cotleigh crescent and there has been a hit and run on cotleigh road. An old lady has been killed. Very sad. Its getting worse around here

Thats really bad. Hope no one else was hurt. Would have thought that with it being a residential street with a few people around and not much reason for cars to be up there apart from locals and trade there is a good chance the guy (or girl) driving could get caught.... hope so anyway.

There are lots of boy racers around here at the moment, steaming up and down the roads at this time of day.

I heard about this earlier - very sad affair.

Also, does anyone know what the police were doing in the flats at the top of Occupation Lane at about 10ish this morning? There were a number of police, couple of beat cars, a police van and they were going in and out of a middle flat.

we'll get the thought police on here any minute suggesting the pedestrian is not the innocent victim.
