I think it means you won't see there posts

You're ignoring them, not the other way around!

So, as far as I remember, you don't notice their stuff but they can still see you.

I'll try and read the manual later today and give a definitive answer!

I tried putting someone on ignore before the update, and all it did was hide the post, but there was a message saying there was a post by someone I had put on iggie....bit pointless really, so I took them off iggie and just tried not to read their posts. That didn't work really, either:roll:

In the particular case to which I was referring, yes. I think I'd have preferred it if the post had been completely hidden, without the message saying it was there, and that I could, if I wished, click on view post.

It was much easier, in the end, to take that person off ignore, and try to avoid that person's posts.
