So, as far as I remember, you don't notice their stuff but they can still see you. I'll try and read the manual later today and give a definitive answer! Joe so if the mods had some of us on ignore, wouldnt it make it even harder to moderate? :P JoeP 28-01-2006, 09:56 Hi Katy, If people ARE bugging you, just PM a Mod and we'll have words if necessary. Joe katy1981 28-01-2006, 10:02 Are ppl upsetting your Kirsty? :D lmao!! @ your kirsty! no my kirstys is fine Ann* 28-01-2006, 10:03 I tried putting someone on ignore before the update, and all it did was hide the post, but there was a message saying there was a post by someone I had put on iggie....bit pointless really, so I took them off iggie and just tried not to read their posts. That didn't work really, either:roll: katy1981 28-01-2006, 10:03 :D Hi Katy, If people ARE bugging you, just PM a Mod and we'll have words if necessary. Joe no no ones bugging me and if they did a ignore button wouldnt be the anwser a nicely worded pm might do the trick:hihi: *sneaks of before joe tells me off for sending abusive pm's Hecate 28-01-2006, 10:05 I tried putting someone on ignore before the update, and all it did was hide the post, but there was a message saying there was a post by someone I had put on iggie....bit pointless really, so I took them off iggie and just tried not to read their posts. That didn't work really, either:roll: So you want to ignore their existence on the forum, as well as what they're writing? ;) youwhatref 28-01-2006, 10:07 lmao!! @ your kirsty! no my kirstys is fine Doh!! I didn't even go out last night so no excuse katy! :D Ann* 28-01-2006, 10:38 So you want to ignore their existence on the forum, as well as what they're writing? ;) In the particular case to which I was referring, yes. I think I'd have preferred it if the post had been completely hidden, without the message saying it was there, and that I could, if I wished, click on view post. It was much easier, in the end, to take that person off ignore, and try to avoid that person's posts. JoeP 28-01-2006, 12:16 so if the mods had some of us on ignore, wouldnt it make it even harder to moderate? :P We could NEVER ignore our users! Even when they want us to... :) Rich 28-01-2006, 12:35 I gather you've been trying to PM me Joe, I've cleared some space in my inbox if you want to try again :) JoeP 28-01-2006, 13:16 It's OK Rich - through sheer persistence and hard work I got the message through to you yesterday afternoon!
