We're students in the process of making a show for film club - and unlike the others advertised on here that seem super dodgy, this one's legit :hihi:

The best part, you needn't star in the show - we just need your voice... Let me explain- part in the show is an answering machine message from a woman we never see (kinda like a female Charlie from Charlie's Angels). The message(s) will be short, max. 60 seconds and no long convoluted words :hihi:

Criteria:-
Must sound 20-25...
Character is from London- so either a London accent/an accent that's not obv. from a specific place...

And that's it. You can either make the recording yourself and email it to us or come to Sheffield Uni and we can record you. Obviously we prefer the former- as we would have to rent equipment to make the recording ourselves :hihi:. We send you what you have to say and you send us the recording. Now the pay? £5.00 a message - that's right, £5.00 for 60 seconds of your time! If the show takes off, pay (and hours) may go up -- who knows?
But there is no contract involved. We're just crazy students having fun :D

To enter, just send us a short recording of yourself (you can use my email address- gazing_at_stars69@yahoo.co.uk)/call.

Feel free to PM me, should you wish to ask further questions.

Hi

I quit professional acting to do a degree at Sheffield uni - I'm there now!

I'm 27 but I sound quite young and can do a London accent no probs. PM me. I would have PMed you but I can't work out how to do it since the site went all hi-tech.

Thanks PeteC (I'm guessing you're a guy? ) - At the moment, the character in question is a woman... But we've had no luck from the clips we've heard so far. Either the London accent is very cockney and so sounds put on (I've lived in London and come across very few cockneys there) or they sound really nervous and we need a confident sounding person (Charlie didn't stutter :hihi: ) -- it's possible we may go for a guy instead and change the script. If so, I'll be in touch
