I voted for Spiderman for myself. Always been a childhood favourite of mine. I'd just love to have that spider sense. :)

Batman wins hands down, I love it when he says to the bartender,(a large glass of fresh orange juice please) then refreshed he goes wham, bam, zonk, at the bad guys. The man is priceless and he always comes out on top.

Superman's the one I'd go for. The ability to fly and the X-ray vision is what swung it for me.

Trouble is with Batman is that your basically in debt to Gotham. Soon as that bloody bat phone rings you are obliged to come running. At least Spiderman or Superman can turn a blind eye if they wish! :)

bat phone does that mean Batman gets a phone bill?

Defo Superman. Fly, X-ray vision, no bullets can hurt him. Hard as nails!
Unless you get some Kryptonite then he's up s**t creek.

Why does Kryptonite hurt him. As I inderstand it he was from Krypton so there is no reason for the radiation from the substance to hurt him.

I'd have to be Wolverine. The ability to heal would be excellent as I'm as clumsy as Ollie Reed at last orders, the adamantium exoskeleton would be blinding - Imagine at christmas day when the father in law says "Would you like to carve the bird?" To which you respond by extending a razor sharp talon and decimating the turkey. But best of all would be having great big mutton chops.- I can't grow then to save my life so that'd be right good as well

As it happens I'm watching Dangermouse now on Sky...

On topic, I'd love to be Batman.

A few weeks back I saw the coolest EVER Batman costume on Ebay that I would've loved to own, but the "Buy it now" price was a Grand as it was a deluxe 1 of a kind job, even the opening bid price was £800!!

I might be Rich by name but I can't afford that kind of moolah on fancy dress that I'd probably wear about 3 times a year if that.

Actually that was just one I hired for £50 from Mr Ben's on Crookes.

And when I was in the Scholar I didn't have the full suit on, just the mask and cape, as I discovered that wearing the full suit meant I had to get undressed to go to the Loo! Which wasn't really convenient.

I'd also go for Wolverine. I have his general outlook on life. Plus the adamantium skeleton and self healing are fantastic. Plus, he's not strictly a hero. He does bad things.

Failing that, I'd be Alucard from Hellsing.

BasilRathbon
12-11-2007, 14:15
I'd be Primarkman, the superhero who shaves the world clad only in £3 T-shirt and £4 pair of jeans with a pair of 10 for £3 underpants worn on the outside.

I always though that Silversurfer was a bit of an anti hero (depends very much on the comics you read).

Wasn't he the destroyer of worlds?

Peter Petrelli, (or Sylar?) from Heroes... oooh think of the power!!

Don't know what comics you read, but Norrin Radd was never the destroyer of worlds - he was the Herald of Galactus, who then turned against his master and was thus banished to the planet he chose over his infinite freedom (Earth).

Even now, in the comics (where he has allied with Galactus again) he is using his powers to guide the ever hungering one to worlds which he can feed on without destroying.

The movie was actually a pretty good representation of surfer (if you can get over the lack of a giant man in purple armour and let it be a mysterious entity in a cloud-ship).
