I used to play Cowboys and Indians as a child and had all the gear to.
I was John West and my mate Martin Robinson was John Wayne.
Not sure why I was called John West, may have just sounded good.
Then I had the Batman cape and then I was Craig Sterling from the series The Champions.
Nice to see thats back on ITV4.
There was a genie called Shazzan cartoon charactor who would appear when his name was shouted, I was Shazzan and sat on the stairs waiting for my elder Bros to shout me who would keep me waiting for about 2 hours before he shouted me...Bah....

One I can remember is Zorro We used to fasten our macs by the top button and leave our arms out of the sleeves and pretend they were capes.
(Strange behaviour for 50 year old men as the film only came out last year)
No that after the sat morn pics in the fifties.

We also used to love playing soldiers and germans, if you were chose as a german you got to do a lot of torture until you were shot :D

John Rambo :D

My dad used to collect knives so i 'borrowed' one of his many 'Rambo' knifes from his collection, tied a bandanna on and ran around the Manor fields thinking i was Rambo :suspect:
