Do you mean bilberries? These are related to cultivated blue berries. I haven't heard of wild blueberries but we used to pick wild bilberries years ago.

ye been told there the same but i dont know :) been told you can find them up nr bus terminus at totley

They are not the same (genetically) but similar. Bilberries are very small.

Anywhere where heather grows is likely to have bilberries as they like the same sort of soil. Moorland areas in general but yes, you are too late for this year. Apple and bilberry pie........yum.....

they grow at the side of the road on the strines just park up,somewhere safe and pick em. maybe a little late this year end july best time.
