Gary Crosby OBE is one of this countries pioneering jazz talents and one of the most important band leaders in the UK, and is not to be missed. Alongside him play the 16 piece Nu Civilisation Jazz Orchestra playing music which combine both Classical and Jazz, some original works and some arrangements.

There is, also, an optional Pre-Concert talk entitled 'Black British Jazz and the meaning of music in the UK', given by Dr Jason Toynbee, which begins at 18:45.
