would love to but cats protection said as i had a school at the top of the road the back entrance i lived near too much traffic , so i went and gave another worthy cause my money instead ,
Sorry you were not able to adopt because of a busy road, but CP are concerned their cats go to a safe environment.
There is no fee to adopt a cat.
Most have been vaccinated amd chipped.
I was similarly told that I couldn't have a cat because I live on a main road. The fact that my front garden is very long and the house is a distance from the road didn't seem to have any effect on the decision.
I got a kitten from a private source and she's been a joy and a pleasure - and has never ventured onto the main road.
I do appreciate that people are concerned that cats go to a safe home but I do feel there is a risk of losing potentially good homes because of inflexibility.
How much do they cost to adopt ,what is the process
There is no fee for adoption. Ring 0114 249 3330 to speak to the co-ordinator. You may have to leave a message. Alternatively, if you wish, PM me a contact number and someone will call you.
