I am trying to get a stick of 1GB DDR 333 2700 memory but everywhere i look they want £60-£70 which i think is expensive and there is not any on ebay at the moment, anyone got any ideas where i could get some for around £40-£50?

Also is this memory any good as it is 333mhz 2700? it is the only type my computer will take though.

Cheers

Don't forget you can use faster rated memory, just at the slower speed. So it might be cheaper to get say pc3200... From a quick look around, you're looking at the low £50s (plus postage) for cheap and nasty generic memory of that size, but I'd echo the recommendations of going to somewhere like Crucial. Corsair Value Select is another cheapish but solid brand name that is available in plenty of places.

I bought a gig from Crucial a couple of weeks ago. They do a lifetime warranty and I've seen too many problems occur through buying cheap and crappy memory.
