Does anyone know if i can send for my daughters provisional licence b4 she is 17,or do i have to wait till shes 17..i was wanting to book a driving lesson 4 her on her 17th birthday,and i dont know if its gunna be poss...thanks to you all,:help:
You can send off for it before she's 17, we did that for my son and booked his first lesson for his birthday.

From the info my son got i do beleive you can apply for it 3 months before their 17th birthday, but they cannot do theory test or any lessons until they are 17.

Yep i'm doing it at the end of the month for mine, all ready for 23rd April. Can't beleive how desperate he is. I don't know what he thinks he's gonna drive when he does pass. :D

You can apply for your provisional as soon as you turn 16 as you need one to drive a CBT, so as long as she is 16 she or you can apply for one but it will not be valid for driving lessons until she turns 17.
I had my first lesson on my birthday and my provisional arrived the day before- talk about cutting it short!
The instructor only asks to see it once tho.
