Parked at the junction of Ball Rd. and Harrison Road (S6 near Malin Bridge) is a big old purple camper van.

It is partly on the pavement and I estimate within 6yds of the junction.

SO, when giving way at the bottom of Harrison Road, to cross into Taplin Road, it is impossible to see up Ball Road to the left, and obviously cars cannot 'peep -round' corners.

So you have to crawl out unaware what is coming down the road, putting the front end of your car on a collision path with those coming down, before you can see just what, if anything IS coming down.

This is a busy rat-run at rush hours.

So.......who's first.

If it is yours, I sympathise with the lack of parking.

BUT FFS shift it before someone is killed!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't quite see how you can call it a rat-run when it's the Council's ridiculous tram gate which forces traffic to go down a road which is completely unsuitable for it.

i live up the road from it and as well as being dangerous its t****tin eyesore

If this car is parked in a dangerous position, i.e., partly on the pavement and within a matter of yards of a junction, I would have thought that a simple call to the police might sort this problem out fairly quickly?
