View Full Version : Directions to Octagon from Train Station discofingers 18-03-2004, 10:49 I am from Leeds and supposed to be seeing Zero7 tonight at the Octagon, can anyone tell me the best way to get there if I get the train into Sheffield? Cheers! x Jayne 18-03-2004, 10:54 Yes, go to the back of the station and get the tram to the university (the blue line - towards middlewood anway - it says at the stop). from the university walk up the road, either hounsfield road, at the side of hsbc or leavygreave road, which is a bit nearer the tram stop. at the top of that road there is a big red building called the hicks building (where I am) if you go to the right hand side of this you get on to the university concourse , don't go under the road just go passed the union and the octagon should be in front of you - if you're not sure there should be lots of people around. hope this is some help Rich 18-03-2004, 10:57 Yes, get off the train at Sheffield Station, follow the signs leading to the tram stop at the back of the train station, once there wait for a blue tram heading for Malin Bridge. When you're on the tram, keep going till it reaches the Sheffield University stop, then get off and walk across the road, then go straight on and turn right, the Octagon centre is on your right then near the Children's Hospital.
