I'm having problems yet again...

Pc running slow again argh! :rant:

Musicmatch Jukebox says i am missing a sound card or something...

Windows Media player just flicks through all my music stops with the eggtimer and cursor showing for ages... i have to close it down in the end as it doesnt do anything...

I love my music and really lost without it...

Please :help: if possible...

ps... there maybe a slight chance i have deleted something i shouldnt... *runs and hides* :?

What os?? What spec?? If windows XP - right click my computer > Properties > Hardware > Device manager > Actions search for new hardwear. It may find the sound card again.... Try the disks which came with the PC for reinstalling the drivers.

Not running XP :( dont have any disks either due to the pc being built for me... and the person who did this for me dont any longer have contact due to moving North!

I have some spare recovery cds that you can have... pm me if you would like one...

For the sound card, just reinstall the drivers.

If you go to device manager and look at your sound card, it will tell you the make and model. Do a search on the net for th drivers for that model and away you go.

Media Player- Just download MP10 from the web. Remove the old one before installing it.

first of all try restoring your pc to an earlier state. goto system tools in the start menu.

it should work.
