Just walked up to the Co-op on Crookes Rd and there is a picket line outside the doors. I'm guessing this is about pay but I thought I'd let you all know in case you were planning on doing some Saturday evening shopping there.

That'll upset the pensioners when they queue up at 6.30 am to get in...

Lol, the retail trade doesn't pay well anyway.. Minimum wage is just short of a fiver an hour, if the pay went above that, they'd have to put the prices up to cover the additional expense of wages, which the pensioners and students who live up Crookes would be the first to moan about.
