Does anyone know if there is any kind of funding available for employers, to encourage them to employ foriegn workers.

The company I work for has just taken on approximately 20 new staff on permanant contracts. These people have been working at the company over the Christmas peak period through agencies. Out of the 20 only 2 are English.


The company has refused permanant employment to English people with excellent productivity rates, attendance and time keeping records who were employed on temporary contracts
by the company themselves.

It seems very odd.
